Hogsback Mountain Bike Race - Sunday 6th April 2008

This is the 4th Annual Border MTB race in Hogsback. There were three "races" a 15km, 40 km and a 60km. I think there may have been 1 or 2 Hogsback residents in the 15km. I was the lone Hogsbakian in the 40km event.

The race took us to the top of Hogsback, to the T junction and then left and left again into the top forrest - a wizzing wonderful exhilerating breeze down towards the Plaatjies Kraal Village - right before and onto a wet slippy up hill roller coaster and some really good… Continue

WEB 2 Course in Hogsback

Today a few Hogsback adults and some children from the Hogsback Country School finished a 2 day WEB 2 course in Hogsback at Maggies House in Windy lane.

I have not only learnt about websites, but blogs, social networks and amazing tools like delicious, slideshow and a greater understanding of the future internet trend. I have gained… Continue

Hi Gaylin: went off to EL yesterday and was luckily in time for the vet to treat the pooch for billary. We'll keep up contact via this site: quite xciting development. Thanks to Maggie for doing this! Will be looking at her CD and develop further. Perhaps we can have a meeting shortly and see how things have developed. Read an amazing thing about accelerating the internet and will post it soon: its in then future though. T

Thanks Chane, hope you have fun with all the new "FREE" tools. I know Kalilo has been playing with slide shows. Have you been playing with any other tools? or just the Hogsback community network? Remeber you are going to use the same platform as this one to build the "Country School" website.
