I can remember the serials that started at 5pm. We'd listen to Superman and others I cannot remember. On an old valve radio powered off our 32V DC supply. We NEVER missed the serials. This was from about 1949 or 1950. Oh, Happy Days!"
thank you so much for writing to me. I was really happy to have a note from you and that you know Bergfried too. I am so glad about having contacts to Hogsback residents - that is more that I have had for a very long time. The only thing that is left is a small bunch of straw flowers, which my mom picked on a journey to Hogsback in the year 2000 for me - a glimpse of hogsback on google earth and a lot of fotos taken in my childhood. My heart is very sore because my homesickness is getting worse from year to year.
My greatest wish is to visit Hogsback in one of the next years to see if anything has changed.
Maybe I'll have a chance to do so. Thank you again for writing to me, you can't imagine what it means to me.
I ahve created a twitter account for hogsback taht could be cool to turn all of us into real live weather stations. Please go and create a twitter account for yourself (www.twitter.com ). then I can talk you through my idea and we can see if it works....
On sat we had a little hail - pea size. But not much rain or clouds. Quite a lot of frost last week. But no snow - last year we had snow in May! There has been so much wind (gale?) this year that if it snows it may not touch the ground!
thanks so much andre. Im not stressed about it at all ...just thought i would let the site admin know about it. I get plenty of dodgy mail generally but that was the first via this site. Looking very forward to being there in 2 weeks. Holding thumbs for snow!!!!
